Course Description
This module is the third in a
series describing the “troubled relationships in early childhood
education” between parents and educators. In it, new directions and
approaches for educators are described and explored. This module
includes excerpts and material adapted from the original research
article listed here. Content has been used and adapted with the consent
of Judith Bernhard. The facilitator, Jan Blaxall, has inserted
comments and suggested reflective activities into the research article.
This module is intended for those who direct early years programs for
culturally diverse families and those who prepare early years
professionals in pre-service programs.
